My Handfasting

So my husband and I are renewing our vows. We have deiced to do a handfasting. I have been busy planning away. and today I got my dress. The color of you handfasting gown is very symbolic. My color that I have chosen is green. This is traditionally worn to welcome the faeries. I love the fae. So I believe I have chosen a perfect color for me. So I received my dress today. and I am so excited. I really cant wait now. Now we just have to order his stuff and my sons and we will be all good. Me and the girls are all set. LOL And you all know it is way harder getting stuff for women to wear. LOL Now I am on to bigger things. I will keep you all posted.

Have to love the humor of a Pagan

So for those of you who know me. Know I have a great sense of humor. And to be me you really must have one. Today a fellow friend of mine sent me a link to a quiz. well this quiz is what bible verse best describes you. Now because I am pagan. I usually would not partake in something like this. But because of my curious nature of what the bible might say about my personality I had to try it. The funny part was the answer I got. It had a ton of questions like,
What would you do if you saw a car accident. but were late for work?
Your choices were
Keep going you don't have time

Stop and help in any way you can
My choice was the one in red. and all of the questions were similar. and every time I answered with the answer that was the most humanly compassionate. Now for those of you who know nothing of the pagan faith. it is a very compassionate faith. And I am a very devoted pagan. I grew up Christan and harbor no ill will toward the faith at all. Now with that being said I will now show you the results of my test.

Now here is the humor, So because I don't drop to my knees in prayer when bad things happen, And instead I show human compassion. I am not on a righteous path. LOL
And they wonder why I don't want to be a christian. All of my answers were good and pure. Campassion and understanding, and all of my answers were what I actually do and feel. But because I did not choose anything that had prayer in it. I am not working in the right direction. HUH! My question is how and when did christ teach his floock to not be pure,good and compassionate people? Since when would a good, pure and compassionate person not be walking on the path with god;)
